久しぶりに作った701タイプの “Norma Jeans”。
701といえば、
マリリンモンローが穿いていた事でも知られる、
通称 “Monroe Type”。
だったらTCBで701を作るなら、
マリリンモンローの本名、
“Norma Jeane” から名前を貰って
Norma Jeansで良いじゃない？
という、かなり雑なネーミングです。笑
だからモンロー語るなら、
この帽子しか無いでしょと、
NYヤンキースの帽子を被ろうと思ったけど、
色と形がNormaと合わなかったので没写真。笑
その辺りの空気感も含めて、
楽しんで貰えたら嬉しいです。

It’s been a while since we last made our 701-inspired “Norma Jeans”.
When people talk about the 701,
it’s often known as the “Monroe Type”
because of Marilyn Monroe.
So if TCB was going to make a 701,
why not name it after Marilyn Monroe’s real name,
“Norma Jeane”?
That’s how we ended up with the name “Norma Jeans”.
A pretty rough naming idea, honestly. Haha.
And if you’re going to talk about Monroe,
I thought this was the only cap that made sense —
a NY Yankees cap.
But in reality,
the color and shape didn’t really match the vibe of Norma,
so these became the rejected photos. Haha.
