いつもカメラ片手に、
フラッとTCBへ現れては、
工場の中でみんなの作業風景を撮影して、
気付いた頃にはまた何処かへ居なくなってるTCBのお爺ちゃん。
地域性なのか、
世代性なのか。
皆さんも小学生くらいの頃、
学校に野良猫や野良犬が迷い込んできて、
一瞬だけクラス中が大騒ぎになった記憶は有りませんか？
最初はみんなの人気者。
休み時間になると誰かが追いかけて、
給食のパンをあげたりして。
でも、
気付けば少しずつ日常に溶け込んで、
そのうち誰も騒がなくなる。
なのに、
何日か姿を見ないと、
「最近見ないな…」
と少しだけ心配になる。
この爺ちゃんを見てると、
そんな子供時代の感覚を思い出します。
TCBではいつも自然体でモデルをして貰ってるんだけど、
この度、
とうとうデジタルカメラマガジンの表紙まで飾る事になったみたいです。
少しずつ、
爺ちゃんの魅力が全国にバレ始めています。笑

An old man of TCB who always shows up at the factory out of nowhere with a camera in hand, walks around taking photos of everyone working inside the factory, and before you realize it, disappears somewhere again.
Maybe it’s a regional thing.
Maybe it’s a generational thing.
But do you remember when you were in elementary school, and a stray cat or dog would wander onto the school grounds and suddenly the whole class would go crazy over it?
At first, they became everyone’s favorite.
During recess, kids would chase after them,
or give them pieces of bread from their school lunch.
But eventually,
they slowly blended into everyday life,
and before long,
nobody made a fuss anymore.
And yet,
if they disappeared for a few days,
you’d find yourself thinking,
“Hey… I haven’t seen them lately.”
Seeing this old man somehow brings back those childhood feelings for me.
At TCB, he’s always modeled for us in the most natural way possible,
but apparently,
he’s now ended up on the cover of Digital Camera Magazine.
Little by little,
his charm is starting to be discovered across Japan. lol
