作り始めて10年強。
未だにハンドペイントで一つ一つ入れている
“TCB”のステンシルが可愛い Seamen TR。
春に向けて、ようやく補充が整いました。
最初はしっかり主張しているステンシルも、 穿き込むうちに少しずつ薄れていきます。
「サイズ外にステンシルなの？」
なんて言われるあの違和感も、 気がつけば自然に馴染んでいく。
そしてその頃には、 ステッチやポケットのアタリ、 普段は気付かないディテールが じわっと浮かび上がってきます。
派手ではないけど、 ちゃんと“育っていく”パンツです。
今くらいから穿き始めて、 少しずつ身体に馴染ませていくと、 夏にはしっかり自分の一本になってくれると思います。

It’s been over 10 years since we first started making them.
The Seamen TR features a hand-painted “TCB” stencil,
applied one by one, and it’s still done the same way today.
With spring coming up, we’ve finally restocked them.
At first, the stencil stands out quite clearly,
but as you wear them, it gradually fades away.
That slight oddness—
“Why is the stencil outside the usual placement?”—
even that starts to feel natural over time.
And by then,
the stitching, the pocket fades,
those subtle details you wouldn’t normally notice
begin to slowly emerge.
They’re not flashy,
but they’re a pair that truly grows with you.
If you start wearing them around this time of year
and let them break in naturally,
they’ll become your own pair just in time for summer.
