アメリカ・ミネソタ州で大工として働くCHRISTIANから、
とても素敵なCat Head Jacketが届きました。
このCat Headには、少しロマンチックな背景があります。
6〜7年前、Ryo君がオランダに住んでいた頃。
ふらっと入った古着屋で、Duck Headのカバーオールに出会います。
サイズも違うし、当時としても高かった。
それでも何かに惹かれて購入し、
結局それはお父さんの元へ渡っていきました。
そして時は流れて2024年。
新しいカバーオールを作りたくて、
元ネタを探し続けていた自分の中で、
ふと気になり始めたのがDuck Head。
あのグリーンのボタンホールと、
どこかファニーな鴨の顔。
正直、それまであまり好みではなかったはずなのに、
実物を見たいと思い始めていました。
そんな時、Ryo君に何気なく言ったんです。
「このカバーオールに出会えたら、TCBで作りたい」
すると彼は、少し驚いた顔でこう言いました。
「え？持ってますよ」
そこから始まったのが、このCat Headです。

This Cat Head has a slightly romantic backstory behind it.
About 6–7 years ago, when Ryo was living in the Netherlands,
he happened to walk into a vintage shop and came across a Duck Head coverall.
It wasn’t even his size, and it was already expensive at the time.
Still, something about it spoke to him, so he bought it.
Eventually, since it didn’t fit him, it was passed on to his father.
And then, time passed.
In 2024, as I was searching both online and offline for a reference to create a new coverall,
Duck Head slowly started to catch my attention.
The green buttonholes,
and that somewhat funny, charming duck face.
To be honest, it wasn’t really my taste before—
but somehow, I found myself wanting to see one in person.
So one day, I casually said to Ryo,
“If I ever come across this coverall, I want to make one at TCB.”
He looked a bit surprised and said,
“Wait… I actually have one.”
And that’s where the story of this Cat Head began.
