30’s Jeansがリストックされました。
TCBの501系ラインナップの中では、
最も太いシルエットになる30’s Jeans。
生地はただ硬いだけではなく、
染めもかなり濃く、
しっかりとしたコシがあります。
その為、
色が抜ける部分と残る部分の差が大きく、
着込んでいくと、
非常にコントラストの強い色落ちへ育っていくのが特徴です。
最初は少し硬く感じる生地かもしれません。
でも膝裏やポケット周りに少しずつアタリが出始める頃には、
あの硬さにも意味があったと思える生地です。
30’sの生地は平耳仕様の為、
力織機のセッティングにも手間が掛かり、
年間でも作れる数量が限られています。
本日はパンツのみの補充となりますが、
30’s Jacketの方も近日中に補充予定です。
まだ真っ紺な30’s。
ここからどんな表情へ育っていくのかも、

30’s Jeans have been restocked.
Among TCB’s 501-inspired lineup, the 30’s Jeans feature the widest silhouette.
The fabric is not only rigid, but also deeply dyed with a strong firmness and body.
Because of this, the difference between the areas that fade and the areas that retain color becomes very pronounced over time, resulting in a bold and highly contrasted fading character.
At first, the fabric may simply feel stiff.
But once subtle wear patterns begin to appear around the back of the knees and pocket areas, you may start to feel that even that initial stiffness had its own purpose.
The 30’s fabric also uses a plain selvedge construction, which requires additional setup on our shuttle looms, limiting the number we can produce each year.
Today we have restocked the jeans only, but the 30’s Jacket is also scheduled to be replenished in the near future.
Still deep, dark indigo for now.
