1930〜40年代のHETTRICKのハンティングベストをベースに製作した、Huntsman Vest。

これまでにも3度ほど製作してきましたが、毎回ありがたいことに大変好評をいただいているベストです。

今回は生地を変え、チャコールのコバートヘリンボーンで製作しました。

Huntsman Vestは、製作するたびに生地を変更しており、同じ生地で再生産することはありません。

そのため、中には歴代のHuntsman Vestをコレクションしてくださっている方もいらっしゃいます。

今回のチャコールのコバートヘリンボーンも、このロット限り。

次に作る時には、また違う表情のHuntsman Vestになります。

このベストの大きな特徴は、フロントのハーフムーンポケットを含め、合計8つのポケットを備えていること。

見た目のインパクトもありますが、実際に使ってみると、想像以上の収納力があります。

中でも面白いのが、フロントのハーフムーンポケット。

身頃全体が大きな袋状になっているため、左側から入れた物を右側から取り出す、なんていう使い方も可能です。

今の時期、Tシャツ一枚で出かけると、どうしてもポケット不足に悩みます。

そんな時、このベストを一枚羽織れば、僕にとっては夏の「着るバッグ」。

バッグを持たずに出かけたい日は、必要な物をポケットに全部放り込んで、そのまま外へ。

そんなふうに使ってもらえたら嬉しいです。
The Huntsman Vest is based on a HETTRICK hunting vest from the 1930s–40s.
We have produced this vest three times in the past, and each release has thankfully been very well received.
For this edition, we have chosen a charcoal covert herringbone fabric.
Every time we make the Huntsman Vest, we use a different fabric, and we never reproduce it in the same material. Some customers have even collected every version we have released over the years.
This charcoal covert herringbone edition is also limited to this single production run. The next time we make the Huntsman Vest, it will have a completely different character.
One of the vest’s defining features is its eight pockets, including the half-moon pockets on the front.
They certainly give the vest a distinctive appearance, but once you start using them, you will be surprised by just how much they can carry.
The front half-moon pocket is particularly interesting. The entire front body forms one large pouch, allowing you to put something in from the left side and take it out from the right.
At this time of year, when you head out wearing only a T-shirt, you often find yourself running out of pocket space.
Throw this vest on, and for me, it becomes a “wearable bag” for summer.
On days when you would rather leave your bag at home, simply throw everything you need into the pockets and head out.
That is exactly how we hope you will enjoy wearing it.
