革パッチが通常モデルよりも低い位置に付けられる、
通称 “Down Patch Model” を再現した Late S40’s。
微妙に広いボックスステッチ。
そして裏側を見なければ気付かない、
帯下チェーンステッチの下糸にはブラックを使用。
黄色と黒が混ざる、
通称 “Tiger Stitch” 仕様なのも、
個人的には見る度にキュンとする部分です。
Late S40’s reproduces the so-called “Down Patch Model,”
where the leather patch is positioned slightly lower than on the regular models.
The subtly wider box stitching.
And something you would never notice unless you look at the inside —
the bobbin thread of the waistband chain stitch is done in black,
creating a mix of yellow and black thread,
commonly known as the “Tiger Stitch.”
It’s one of those small details that personally makes my heart skip a beat every time I look at it.
