日本のジーンズのドキュメンタリームービーでTCBを取り上げてくれて好評だった、NY在住のAlejandroが久しぶりにTCBへ遊びに来てくれました。
今回は一緒に井原の力織機へ。

織り上がる生地を見つめる彼の目は、
まるでアニメで可愛い女の子を見つけた時みたいにハートマーク状態。笑
古い力織機が、
国も言葉も越えて、
人を少年みたいな顔にしてしまうのが面白い。
そういえば、
そんなAlejandroも着用してくれていた Late S40’s Jeans が丁度リストック完了しました。
今ならセットアップでもサイズを選んで頂きやすいタイミングだと思います。
世界中の誰かがこのデニムを穿いて、
Alejandroみたいに目を輝かせてくれたら嬉しいです。
Alejandro, who lives in New York and previously featured TCB in a well-received documentary film about Japanese jeans, came back to visit TCB after quite some time.
This time, we went together to visit the shuttle looms in Ibara.

As he watched the fabric being woven, his eyes turned into heart shapes,
like someone in an anime spotting a cute girl for the first time. Haha.
It’s funny how these old shuttle looms can transcend countries and languages,
and turn grown men back into boys again.
By the way,
the Late S40’s Jeans that Alejandro was wearing have just been restocked.
Right now should be a good chance to pick up the full setup while sizes are still available.
I’d be happy if someone, somewhere in the world, puts on this denim
and their eyes light up the same way Alejandro’s did.
