ついついデニムばかり紹介しがちですが、忘れちゃいけないのがUNCLE CAT’S SHIRTS。
発売した頃は、長袖には少し気が早い季節でしたが、あっという間に、ちょうど良く着られる時期がもうすぐそこまで来ました。
一枚で着るのはもちろん、秋が深まればデニムジャケットやカバーオールのインナーにも。
そろそろ改めて、このシャツの魅力をご紹介したいと思います。
この文章を書きながら、ふと思い出しました。
ここ数年、カバーオールやGジャンのインナーにはフードを合わせることが多かったのですが、10代の頃は必ずと言っていいほどワークシャツを合わせていました。
今年も寒くなれば、きっとフードを入れたくなると思います。
だからその前に、シャツの上にカバーオールを羽織って、襟と襟が重なる、あのワークらしい着こなしを久しぶりに楽しみたいと思います。

When we first released them, it still felt a little early for long-sleeve shirts. But before we knew it, the season when they’ll feel just right was already around the corner.
They work well on their own, and as autumn deepens, they’ll also be perfect under a denim jacket or coverall. With that season approaching, I thought it was time to take another look at what makes these shirts so special.
As I was writing this, I suddenly remembered something.
Over the past few years, I’ve often worn a hoodie under a coverall or denim jacket. But when I was a teenager, I almost always wore a work shirt underneath.
Once the weather turns cold this year, I’m sure I’ll want to reach for a hoodie again. But before then, I want to wear a coverall over a shirt and enjoy that classic workwear look created by one collar layered over another—something I haven’t done in quite a while.
