30数年前、ジーンズに出逢った少年は、テレビのワイドショーで「渋谷のスニーカー狩り」が社会問題になっているのを見ていた。
それから時が経ち、その舞台だった渋谷で、大好きなジーンズに合わせるスニーカーをReebokとつくり、スニーカーショップでPOP-UPを開く。
そんな世界線が待っているんだから、人生は面白い。
POP-UP最終日のOPEN3分前。
「今、行こうよ！」
と飛び出して撮影したのは、Reebok渋谷店から歩いて1分のところにあるレコードショップ。
つい先日のSNSで、私があの頃からずっと大好きだった人が立っていた場所（笑）。
10代の頃に与えてもらった衝撃を、時を経て、今度は自分が与える側に回りたい。
10代の井上少年に舐められるような大人には、なりたくないから（笑）。
あの頃の未来に、僕らは立っている。

More than 30 years ago, a boy who had just fallen in love with jeans watched TV news reports about the infamous “sneaker hunting” incidents in Shibuya, where young people were being robbed of their sneakers.
More than three decades later, that same boy found himself in Shibuya—the very place where it all happened—collaborating with Reebok to create sneakers to go with the jeans he loves, and holding a POP-UP inside a sneaker store.
The fact that a future like this was waiting for me is what makes life so interesting.
Three minutes before opening on the final day of the POP-UP—
“Let’s go. Right now!”
We rushed out to take this photo at a record store just a one-minute walk from Reebok Shibuya.
It was the exact same spot where someone I’ve admired ever since those days had recently stood in a photo shared on social media. Haha.
The impact and excitement I experienced as a teenager have stayed with me all these years.
Now, I want to be the one who creates that same kind of impact for someone else.
I don’t want to become the kind of adult that teenage Hajime Inoue would look down on. Haha.
We’re standing in the future we dreamed of back then.
