Vintageの方は、長い時間をかけて色が褪せた一着。
TCBのCordsも、着込んで洗いを重ねた先で、この色目に近づくように作っています。

生地は、１インチの間に14本の畝が並ぶ、14ウェルのコーデュロイを再現しました。
この細かな畝が擦れ、色が落ち、少しずつ柔らかくなっていく。
そんな変化も楽しんでもらえたらと思います。

デニムであれば、つい洗うのを控え気味にしてしまう私ですが、このCordsは着るたびに洗って、クタッとさせて着るのも可愛い気がしています。

少しピンクを褪せさせたいですよね。笑

いつかまた、このVintageと並べて撮る時に、どこまで近づいているのか。
そんな楽しみがある一着です。
The vintage jacket has faded over many years.
We’ve made our TCB Cords so that, with wear and repeated washing, the color will gradually approach this shade.

For the fabric, we recreated a 14-wale corduroy, with 14 ribs per inch.
As those fine ribs wear down, the color fades and the fabric slowly softens.
We hope you’ll enjoy watching that transformation.

With denim, I tend to hold off on washing, but with these Cords, I like the idea of washing the jacket after every wear and letting it become soft and floppy.

You want to fade that pink a little, don’t you? Haha.

Someday, when we photograph it alongside this vintage jacket again, how close will the color have come?
That’s something to look forward to with this jacket.
