偶然にも、TCBで販売しているKiriyamaさんのスタッズベルトを購入して下さったこともあり、今回はつるっとさん、Kiriyamaさん、Ryo君、私の4人でお邪魔することに。

動画の中でも話していますが、私たちは工場で洋服を作り、チェックして、お店に並べます。

でも、洋服が一番輝くのは、いつだろう。
そう考えると、やっぱり誰かに着てもらい、その人の生活の一部になった時だと思います。

袖をまくって、いつもの厨房に立ち、ラーメンを作る。
その姿を見ていると、私たちの手を離れた服が、ちゃんとこの方の一着になっているんだなと感じます。

普段、お客様の働く場所までお邪魔する機会は、なかなかありません。
それでも、こうして撮影をさせて頂ける時には、皆さんの「TCBがある生活」を少しずつ御紹介していけたらと思っています。

毎日、厨房に立つことで生まれる色落ち。
同じ服を着ていても、私には作れない、この方ならではの表情です。

これからどう変わっていくのか、定期的に撮影させてもらいたい。
おかげで私にも、ラーメンを食べに行く理由が出来ました。笑

もちろん、ラーメンもメチャクチャ美味しいです。
是非食べに行って、厨房で働くTCBの姿も見つけてもらえたら嬉しいです。

As it happened, he had also purchased one of Kiriyama’s studded belts from TCB, so the four of us—Tsurutto-san, Kiriyama-san, Ryo, and myself—went to visit him.

As I mention in the video, we make our clothes in the factory, inspect them, and put them on the shelves.

But when do clothes really shine?
For me, it’s when someone wears them and they become part of that person’s everyday life.

Rolling up his sleeves, standing in his familiar kitchen, making ramen.
Watching him work, I felt that the jacket we had made had truly become his own.

We don’t often get the chance to visit our customers where they work. But whenever we have an opportunity like this, I hope to take photographs and share a little of their everyday lives with TCB.

The fading that develops from working in the kitchen day after day.
Even if I wore the very same jacket, I could never create quite the same character. It belongs to him and the work he does.

I’d love to keep photographing it to see how it changes.
Which also gives me a reason to keep coming back for ramen! Haha.

Of course, the ramen itself is absolutely delicious.
If you visit, I hope you’ll enjoy a bowl and spot some TCB at work in the kitchen, too.

The restaurant is also close to the Kurashiki Interchange, making it a convenient stop on your way to or from TCB if you’re visiting from further afield.
