ジーンズを穿いてクラシックミニをビルドしながら、3匹のシェパードと1匹の猫と暮らすKiriyamaさん。
まさに、ジーンズがハードに育つ環境です。

そんな日々のなかで穿き込まれているCatfaceが、これからどんな表情へ変化していくのか。私もとても楽しみにしています。
実は、この写真を撮影したのは8月の終わり。
その後、汚れが気になったため、一度洗濯したとのことでした。
今回は洗濯をできるだけ抑えるのではなく、これまでよりも適度に洗いながら付き合っていくそうです。
穿く。汚れる。洗う。
そんな日常を重ねながら育っていくCatfaceを、これからも見届けていきたいと思います。

Kiriyama-san builds classic Minis in his jeans while sharing his life with three German Shepherds and a cat.
It is, quite literally, the perfect environment for denim to be put through its paces.
His Catface is being shaped by that life, and I am just as excited to see what kind of character it will develop from here.
These photographs were actually taken at the end of August.
Since then, he told me that the jeans became dirty enough for him to give them another wash.
This time, rather than trying to wash them as little as possible, he plans to live in them while washing them more regularly than before.
Wear them. Get them dirty. Wash them.
I look forward to watching this Catface continue to evolve through the repetition of everyday life.
Although, now I think I really need to visit Kiriyama-san’s garage and photograph him surrounded by his dogs. Haha.
